Wii Bit of Fun: Before and After

May 31, 2011

Recently I bought The Sims 2 for the PC.  But the other day I got The Sims 3 for the Wii from Gamefly.  So here are a couple of comparisons of where the Wii version of the third one was better than the PC version of the second one.  Apparently WordPress is going to run all the text close together, ignoring my returns, so this post will kind of look like shit.  Thanks WordPress!

Becky is on the right (obviously).  This is from “The Sims 2” on the PC.

And then on the right is Becky on “The Sims 3” on the Wii.

The Wii version pretty much sucks compared to the PC because the Wii’s graphics are lame.  But it did work better with Becky just because in The Sims 3 you can make Sims look fatter.

It also worked better for Emma’s daughter Louise, the kid on the left there because her hair is too red in this one because you only get one shade in The Sims 2.

On the Wii you can get darker red, which is more accurate.

Though this image isn’t the best capture.

The same with Louise would apply to our witch character Sylvia too, but I didn’t feel like making her in the Sims 3.

So there you go.

And in the interest of too much information, here’s fat Becky in a bikini!

  1. Does the Sims give you a God complex, Mutt?

    • Probably, though at least I didn’t take pictures of them on the toilet. Though I don’t bother playing the game itself, which I find pretty tedious. I just like making people and maybe houses on occasion. My sisters like making neighborhoods but again don’t really play the game itself.

  2. So you spent your Monday off making “Fat Becky In A Bikini?”

    • Hey come on, that took like twenty minutes after I got home from not writing very much at Panera Bread and Starbucks.

  3. Here’s a random fact for you: The Supreme Court ruled several years ago that pornography featuring video game or “life-like” characters done through C.G.I. was not considered pedophile (and therefore illegal) material even if the C.G.I. characters looked very realistic and extremely young.

  4. Good work on your CG characters. I’m still planning on using some more of your character bios to practice by tablet skills, but my Emma attempt probably just exposed how much I should probably read some of the story first.
